My Bagpiping journey began when my father, who had recently left the army, placed his beloved wooden chanter in my hands and gave me my first lesson. I was just 8 years old, and from that moment, something clicked. The bagpipes became more than an instrument; they became a voice for my passion and creativity.

Over the years, my relationship with the bagpipes has evolved from those early days of learning to control my fingers on tear-stained music sheets to performing at some of the most memorable events across Scotland and beyond. I've been fortunate enough to play in stunning locations—from intimate weddings nestled in the Highlands to prestigious gatherings like the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, where the sound of the pipes resonated across ancient walls.​
As "The Tailored Piper," I believe in making every performance unique and meaningful. I specialize in crafting musical experiences that are personal and unforgettable, whether it's playing a couple’s favourite song as they walk down the aisle, creating an unexpected moment with a modern tune, or delivering a powerful tribute that moves everyone in the room. My goal is to bring the bagpipes to life in a way that feels fresh and exciting while still honouring their deep roots and traditions.

Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with incredible people and playing for distinguished guests - from celebrities to global leaders. My approach has always been about connecting with people through music, using the power of the pipes to create moments that linger long after the last note has faded.

Many may also know me from Harmony Bagpiping, a venture I co-founded with my close friend Robin, where we bring a dynamic and energetic style to events all over Scotland, England, and Europe. While Harmony Bagpiping allows me to share the stage and create magic as a team, "The Tailored Piper" is my first venture off as an events bagpiper and I just couldn't get rid of it.
